Where they’ll fine and bully companies who don’t bow down to them. Eventually everywhere you go you’ll be tracked and monitored even if you have done no wrong, so cameras will stalk you across the country, your internet will be tied to your ID documents and you will be monitored along with your bank account. It’s not about keeping kids safe, it’s about mass surveillance, silencing anyone that dare speaks out about the government or who speaks out their beliefs

In a way this new online safety act is also to punish the poor, poor people or those living in poverty the government created by hiking energy prices etc, they can afford a passport, many won’t qualify for a credit card and companies like YOTI that are scummy, claim you can just scan your face, but then they are like NUH Brah hand over your ID as well to prove that’s really you in the face scan.
Many websites are just closing the doors to the uk, giving uk users the middle finger, support groups critical for mental health and other support groups are just going to close their doors to the uk user base and people are dying because the NHS mental health support (if you can call it support) is so diabolical and under funded, the government won’t fund it, it’s the councils, who’d rather spend money on solar powered trash cans than properly fund mental health support for our communities.
